Overview
The Flevovitaal project is an innovative health initiative aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among healthcare professionals and patients at Flevo Hospital. This project is part of the TRAIN Health Awareness program, led by Dr. Simran Grewal and Dr. Nimrat Grewal, which focuses on integrating lifestyle improvements into regular healthcare practices using the TRAIN Health Awareness app.
Objectives
Methodology
Digital Health Tools: Participants use the TRAIN Health Awareness app, which offers tips and guidance on physical activity, nutrition, sleep, and mental health.
Questionnaires: Participants complete questionnaires at various intervals (0 weeks, 1 month, 3, 6, 9, and 12 months) to provide data on health-related quality of life.
Anonymous Data Collection: Collected data is used anonymously for research purposes to evaluate the impact of eHealth interventions on general health.
Progress and Findings
Implementation of the TRAIN Health Awareness App: The app is now being used by healthcare professionals and patients to promote healthy living.
Data Collection: Continuous data collection through regular questionnaires to monitor health improvements and behavioral changes.
Preliminary Results: Early results indicate positive feedback from users, with improvements noted in various health metrics.
