The extent of the raphe in bicuspid aortic valves is associated with aortic regurgitation and aortic root dilatation.

Description

This research examines how the extent of the raphe, a congenital fusion of the aortic valve leaflets, correlates with the development of aortic regurgitation and root dilation in BAV patients. The findings suggest that the raphe’s size may serve as a significant indicator of clinical outcomes.
