- SADN: Aort Diseksiyonu Çalışması
Overview
Objectives
Methodology
Data Collection: Gathering comprehensive data on patient histories, genetic profiles, imaging studies, and clinical outcomes.
Biobank: Establishing a biobank of tissue samples and blood specimens from aortic dissection patients for molecular and genetic analyses.
Collaborative Network: Working with hospitals, research institutions, and patient organizations across the Netherlands to create a robust and collaborative research network.
Progress and Findings
Identification of Genetic Markers: Discovery of novel genetic markers associated with increased risk of aortic dissection.
Improved Diagnostic Techniques: Development of advanced imaging protocols and biomarkers for early detection.
Enhanced Treatment Protocols: Implementation of refined surgical and medical treatment strategies based on research findings.
Patient Registry: Creation of a national patient registry to track long-term outcomes and support clinical research.
Future Directions

1
Longitudinal Studies
Conducting long-term studies to assess the effectiveness of new diagnostic and treatment approaches.
2
Patient Education and Support
Developing educational resources and support programs for patients and families.
3
