Dr Gasser started  her taining in cardiothoracic surgery at the University Heart Center Hamburg, Germany in 2015. Since 2018 she completed her training in Innsbruck, Austria, where she qualified in March, 2022. Since then her specific clinical interests lie in aortic surgery and surgical electrophysiology. She is part of the EACTS and the EU Vascern team for Heritable Thoracic Aortic Diseases contributing regularly to international meetings.
