About Dr. Susanne Eberl
Dr. Susanne Eberl is a highly experienced cardiothoracic and paediatric anaesthetist with over 30 years of clinical practice. She currently serves as the Head of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia at the Amsterdam UMC, a position she has held since May 2010. Dr. Eberl completed her medical education at Ulm University, obtaining her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 1993. She began her career as a Senior Anaesthetist at the University of Heidelberg in 1994, where she worked for 12 years before joining the AMC – Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam (AMC) in 2006. In 2017, she completed her PHD at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Throughout her career, Dr. Eberl has made significant contributions to the field of perioperative care in cardiac surgery.
