SADN: Estudio sobre la disección de aorta

Visión general

El proyecto SADN (Stichting Aorta Dissectie Nederland) es una iniciativa de investigación a gran escala destinada a comprender los mecanismos subyacentes, los factores de riesgo y los resultados de la disección aórtica. El objetivo de este proyecto es mejorar el diagnóstico, el tratamiento y la atención de los pacientes con disección aórtica en los Países Bajos mediante la recopilación y el análisis exhaustivos de datos. Los objetivos reflejan la misión de SADN, pero la metodología, el progreso y los hallazgos de la investigación son responsabilidad de TRAIN.

To identify genetic, clinical, and lifestyle risk factors associated with aortic dissection.

To enhance diagnostic techniques and tools for early detection of aortic dissection.

To develop and refine treatment protocols to improve patient outcomes and reduce mortality rates.

Patient Support

To provide support and resources for patients and their families affected by aortic dissection.

Metodología

Data Collection: Gathering comprehensive data on patient histories, genetic profiles, imaging studies, and clinical outcomes.
Biobank: Establishing a biobank of tissue samples and blood specimens from aortic dissection patients for molecular and genetic analyses.
Collaborative Network: Working with hospitals, research institutions, and patient organizations across the Netherlands to create a robust and collaborative research network.
