CalmAorta explores the integration of mindfulness into the rehabilitation process for patients recovering from thoracic aortic surgery. This project aims to reduce anxiety, improve mental health, and enhance overall recovery by incorporating mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) techniques alongside physical rehabilitation.

MBSR Techniques: Patients are taught mindfulness-based stress reduction exercises to practice daily.
Integrated Rehabilitation: Mindfulness is used alongside traditional cardiac rehabilitation to enhance recovery.
Patient Monitoring: Regular assessments of mental well-being and physical recovery are conducted.
