I have years of experience in the field of CVRM and implementation in the broadest sense.

I am a board-member of the Dutch CVRM Guidelines, chairman of the DCVA committee Prevention, chairman of the NVVC workinggroup medication, and was president of the WCN.

The Cardiovascular Center Salland/Deventer Hospital has been established on my initiative with a system of transcending cardiovascular specialisms.

Prevention in the environment of the patient, at the general practitioner and in the hospitals is very important: “The vascular tree needs treatment from trunk to end-sites”.
